The Community Hub
UWE's Community Hub is a space for you to relax, plan your work or meet new friends. The Community Hub is home to UWE Volunteering and the Faith and Spirituality team, and also hosts intercultural activities.
Volunteering is a fun, worthwhile and rewarding opportunity. You can learn new skills and gain fantastic work experience, whilst making a positive difference in the local community. Whatever your skills, talents and interests, we will find a role to suit you. Find out more about volunteering at UWE.
Faith and spirituality
The Community Hub offers opportunities for students and staff to explore and practise faith and spirituality. Our services and facilities are open to people of all faiths and none, and include:
- Space and time for worship and private reflection within the University.
- Religious services, events and celebrations. See our list of events and activities.
- Pastoral care and spiritual guidance, including appointments with Chaplains of different faiths.
- Support for student and staff faith networks and groups, and information about local faith communities. Links with other groups within UWE and the wider community means that support can extend across campuses and beyond the University.

In term time, we have a programme packed with events open to all students. Why not join us for iCon lunch or Cafe Lingua - the UWE Language Exchange cafe. Both provide a great chance for home and international students to meet.
