More UWE communities
High societies
The UWE Students’ Union have some of the largest and most active societies in the country. With everything from subject-led and international societies, to those simply for students with shared interests. So whether you’re animated about anime, love live music or just want to try something completely different, we’re confident there’s a society (or two) for you. And if your passion isn’t represented, just like the sports clubs, you can start your own.
Every little helps
There are always opportunities to volunteer with UWE and it’s a great way to meet likeminded people. It can be a mucky business; you might be clearing litter from the beach or renovating a local community centre, but there’s nothing quite like getting stuck in to the team spirit. Getting involved gives you a warm feel-good glow, even more so when it’s shared with your fellow volunteers. Find out more about volunteering at UWE.
Student Ambassadors
UWE’s huge team of student ambassadors represent the University at key events such as Open Days and Welcome Weekend, as well as going out to Schools and Colleges, working at performing arts events, awards ceremonies and much more. Becoming a student ambassador involves plenty of hard work but it is also an amazing opportunity to meet with students of all ages from other courses and campuses.
