About the Erasmus programme

Erasmus

Opportunities to study or work abroad

We offer student exchange opportunities with our partnership universities in Europe through the Erasmus programme.

Erasmus is part of the British Council’s Lifelong Learning Programme, providing EU students with the opportunity to study in another European country as part of their degree.

How it works

Students attend a partner university for a period of study, usually one semester or an academic year. This enables them to gain invaluable experience both academically and personally.

Opportunities vary depending on your area of study, but there are a number of courses which participate in the exchange scheme. Just use our online course search and look under the 'special features' tab to see if it's offered.

If you are a UWE student, find out more about going abroad with Erasmus and if you are an international student, find out about coming to study at UWE with Erasmus.

Alternatively, you can speak to a Student Adviser or contact the Study Abroad team to discuss your options.
