Writing skills with Laura Beatty

The Royal Literary Fund is sponsoring Laura Beatty as a Writing Fellow for students from the Department of Arts and Cultural Industries.

In one-to-one consultations Laura can:

  • make your writing clearer, sharper and stronger
  • suggest ways to improve the structure of your writing
  • answer questions on style and use of language.
  • resolve any concerns you may have with your writing. 

Laura is available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in 2S309 on Frenchay Campus and appointments are flexible to your needs.

  • listen to any concerns you have about your writing
  • improve your editing and proofreading skills 
  • advise on research methodologies
  • enhance your communication and presentation skills
  • answer referencing queries
