General information regarding reporting repairs

If you are planning to phone in your repair request, please be ready with as much information as possible about the problem – what needs repairing, what is wrong with it and where is it located?

We will also need your contact details - your name, student ID, accommodation address, a telephone number and email address.

Repairs and planned maintenance will be completed by UWE approved contractors. If you have reported a fault you should expect a contractor to visit. You do not need to be present in the property and Accommodation Services will issue a key for access directly to the contractor. A calling card will be left in your room when a contractor enters your room/property.

All students have access to an online flat maintenance tracker, you can view and check the live status of any jobs reported in your flat or house. You can login to the maintenance tracker here.

To find out how quickly we will arrange for the work to be done see our: Repairs Service Standards
