Key Skills for Live Interaction with the Public
This session will combine theory and practice to develop key skills for interacting directly with public audiences. Topics covered will include defining audiences; identifying messages; and choosing appropriate media and venues. Top tips for live interactions will also be incorporated, including listening (tailoring information), clarity of voice and language, body language, dealing with the unexpected, working with volunteers and so on.

Resources Required: Flipcharts, pens, room layout conducive to group work.
