Outreach and public engagement
Working closely with schools and colleges and industry, we offer inspiring and exciting events throughout the year to enhance and complement your curriculum.
Our activities span engineering, design and mathematical subjects with the aim to inspire future graduates and develop their career paths. We are an extremely proactive Faculty where engagement with schools and colleges takes place in a variety of ways.
Widening access
Working closely with schools and colleges and industry - our range of initiatives intend to raise aspirations and create awareness of the options available at University.
Events and activities
We enable and support events with both using our substantial facitilies, and our enthusiastic students and staff.
Working together
Within the department, we have several initiatives allowing us to engage fully with local schools and colleges. Working with the schools and colleges enables us to establish mutual priorities and plan for the future.
