Qualifications listed under each section may satisfy UWE entry requirements to that level of study. This is not a guarantee of an offer of a place, which is at the University's discretion.

English Language requirements

All students must also have a recognised English Language qualification.

For postgraduate entry requirements, please refer to individual course descriptions within the courses database.

We accept those who have scored 70% and above in Standard XII for Undergraduate entry. For Postgraduate entry you will need to have achieved the Undergraduate requirements and been taught in the medium of English at university level in the last three years.

Entry requirements

• Entry onto Undergraduate
  Higher Secondary School Certificate/Indian School Certificate (standard XII) from the following boards CBSE / CISCE / WBCHSEB with 65% including grade C in at least 5 subjects. Students with lower grades may be considered for entry onto a foundation degree.

  Applicants who have standard IIX from other state boards should contact the International Development Office for further information. If you have studied A-levels or IB, information on entry requirements can be found on the specific programme webpage.

• Entry onto Postgraduate
  Holders of a Bachelor degree awarded by an Indian University or Bachelors of Engineering who have 50% or more will be considered for postgraduate study.
  
  Holders of a Bachelor of Science/Commerce/Art or LLB who have 55% or more will be considered for postgraduate study.
