Human Resource Management Journal aims to promote the theory and practice of HRM, to provide an international forum for discussion and debate, and to stress the critical importance of people management to a wide range of economic, political and social concerns. HRMJ's focus lies in providing a critical link between high quality academic research and the practical implications for business practice. It has become essential reading for everyone involved in personnel, training and human resource management and is the only HRM journal to be endorsed by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Human Resource Management Review

The Human Resource Management Review is a quarterly journal devoted to the publication of scholarly conceptual/theoretical articles pertaining to human resource management and allied fields (e.g. organisational behaviour, industrial/organisational psychology, labour relations). Meta-analytical reviews that make a conceptual/theoretical contribution are also appropriate. It will focus on issues of function and process, preferably addressed at the micro (i.e., individual and group) level. However, the Review will also consider papers at the macro (organisational and societal) level of analysis. Its purpose is to provide a forum for ideas that will stimulate and lead to empirical research, as well as for the critical examination of existing concepts, models, and frameworks. Subject areas considered appropriate include, but are not limited to, personnel selection, compensation, performance appraisal, attraction and retention, training and development, human resource applications of computer technology, and human resource planning.

The International Journal of Human Resource Management is the forum for HRM scholars and professionals world-wide.

Concerned with the expanding role of strategic human resource management in a fast-changing global environment, the Journal focuses on future trends in HRM, drawing on empirical research in the areas of strategic management, international business, organisational, personnel management and industrial relations.

The International Journal of Human Resource Management encourages strategically focused articles on a wide range of issues including employee participation, human resource flow, reward systems and high commitment work systems. The Journal aims to address major issues arising from: internationalisation of market integration; increased competition; technological change; new concepts of line management; and changing corporate climates.
