About the CPA
Performing arts for all
The Centre for Performing Arts (CPA) is a hub for the performing arts within the University and the surrounding area, partnering with local and national organisations to enrich the experience of students, staff, alumni and the local community.
A host of opportunities
The centre is home to a range of activities and groups in which students, staff, alumni and friends of the University can participate. Whether you like to play an instrument, sing or perform on stage, there is something for everyone.
Other opportunities available through the CPA include singing lessons and vocal workshops, as well as access to rehearsal rooms and musical instruments.

Events throughout the year
CPA groups regularly perform at venues across Bristol and the South West. Recent productions include a performance of Belshazzar's Feast in Colston Hall and Shostakovich's Symphony No. 5 in Bristol Cathedral.
A real highlight of the CPA year is our annual musical, with previous productions including Fame, The Boy Friend and Our House. This years' musical, Titanic, is set to take the stage by storm!
