Everything you need to know to arrange your graduation.
- Friday 21 June 2024 is the deadline for booking your place, guest tickets, robes and photography for July 2024 ceremonies.
- Booking your place as a graduating student is free of charge.
Look out for your invitation email
Check your personal email and your UWE Bristol email for your invitation.
- July graduation invitations are sent by the end of April.
- November graduations are sent by the end of September.
Booking graduation
All graduation bookings are made through our supplier Ede & Ravenscroft. Your invitation email will include a link to their website.
On the Ede & Ravenscroft website, you can book your:
- Graduate's place
- Guest tickets
- Robe
- Photography

We recommend you book your free place so you have the option of attending.
International students
We recommend you book to secure your place and follow the advice about getting a visa support letter, if you need one.
Confirm you have booked your place
Go through checkout to finalise your place
To book your place, you must go through checkout on Ede & Ravenscroft’s website, even if you choose not to book robes or photography.
Check you get your confirmation email
Get in touch with from Ede & Ravenscroft if you don’t receive a confirmation email.
Check your personal details and your award are correct
Your details as given when you book will be included in the ceremony programme and will be read out at the ceremony.
Email UWE Bristol’s graduation team at graduation@uwe.ac.uk to correct your details.

What to wear to your graduation ceremony
Graduations are formal occasions, so we recommend you wear smart clothing.
You don’t have to wear academic robes to your graduation ceremony, though most graduates choose to wear them.
