Graduation day – Gloucester Cathedral
Awards Ceremonies at Gloucester Cathedral are for UWE Bristol and Gloucester Campus students only.
Please contact the Graduation team to inform them of any access requirements you or your guests have. Access requirements need to be put into place before the seating plans are arranged, so please let us know at least two weeks before your ceremony.
Wheelchair access is available at Gloucester Cathedral and appropriate seating will be arranged. The stewards will be pleased to show you to your seats when you arrive at the Cathedral.
Depending on the time of your ceremony a typical graduation day will be as follows:

|09:00||Collect academic robes from within the Cathedral.|
|09:00||Photography studio opens for professional photographs.
(The studios are very busy throughout the day – arrive early if you require photographs to be taken.)
|10:00–17:00||The coffee shop in the Cathedral serves light refreshments.|
|10:00||If you will also be collecting a prize as well as having your award conferred, you should go to the stage areas where a steward will brief you about the prize presentation section of the ceremony.|
|10:45||Graduands and guests should be seated.|
|12:00||Ceremonies end, wine and soft drinks are served in the cloister area of the Cathedral. These refreshments will only be available to graduating students and guests with tickets.|
