There is a real sense of friendship and community among our international students. We've handpicked some of the ways you can get involved.
No matter where you are from, how far you are from, the global student support team has organised a range of global events for all students to develop your global mindset, network and make new friends from around the world.
Online support for international students at UWE
The UWE Global Centre and UWE Bristol’s International College work together to support international students. We have moved some of our events online and below is a list of available options. The most up to date information can be found on our Facebook pages @uweglobal and @UWEBICBristol.
Events and online activitiesUWE Global Café – Every Thursday from 2 April 2020 between 14:00–15:00 (UK time)
The Global Student Support team, together with the Library staff, is running weekly events focusing on different themes including culture, home study, English language and more.

Weekly group chats on Zoom run by the UWE Bristol’s International College every Wednesday at 15:00. This is an informal platform for students to keep in touch and chat with each other.
The Global student support team organises regular day trips both locally and nationally, so there are plenty of ways to make the most of what the UK has to offer.

UWE Bristol is a busy and vibrant place to be with events taking place throughout the year including celebrations for Chinese New Year, Vietnamese Tet, Hindu Cultural Week and more.
