Student experiences in Philosophy and Politics

Our students come to Philosophy and Politics from a range of backgrounds, and go on to do all kinds of things – from DJing and activism, to teaching and marketing. Read about three students’ experiences of life and study at UWE Bristol.

Vashti: After completing her Philosophy degree Vashti set up Deki, a charity which aims to reduce poverty through person-to-person micro-loans.

Keren: BA(Hons) Politics and International Relations student Keren says that the main selling point for her course is the support and encouragement from tutors.

Jaya: Volunteering and exploring Bristol have added an extra dimension to Jaya's Politics degree.
