Teaching and learning in Nursing and Midwifery
Your course will prepare you for a future in health and social care – using evidence-based practice to guide your clinical reasoning, analytical and reflective skills.
- You’ll be assessed on ‘case studies’, where you’ll work in multi-disciplinary groups to coordinate a patient’s care.
- You’ll learn from experienced, practicing teaching staff who lead life-changing research and feed their findings directly back into their teaching.
- You could take part in conference days where you’ll have the opportunity to present your research findings back to your colleagues.
We’ll also help you to develop essential and effective skills, such as communication, decision making, creative thinking and team work – all skills you will need to be a successful practitioner.
