Access West of England (AWE) carries out Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA) needs assessments for disabled applicants and students undertaking Higher Education courses.
Book your assessment
If you have had confirmation from your funding body (for example student finance) that you can book your DSA-funded Study Needs Assessment, go to the AWE Portal to register and submit your booking details.Visit the AWE Portal
The next appointment at our main site (Frenchay Campus) is in three working days.

- check your booking details
- complete your pre-assessment form
- upload required documents
- check the progress of your assessment report
- access your report.
