Prize draw information

To thank you for your participation in the National Student Survey (NSS), we’re giving away 15 graduation packages to students who enter our prize draw.

The prize

Fifteen students will win a graduation package comprised of two guest tickets to graduation with priority seating, robe hire, and a photography package. One lucky winner will also get a chance to ride in a hot air balloon with one guest.

Please note: The prize draw closes on 30 April 2019; the same day that the NSS closes.

Terms and conditions

  • Students are eligible for the prize draw if they tick the 'enter prize draw' box at the start of the survey online.
  • The prize draw is only open to UWE Bristol students eligible to complete the NSS.
  • The winners will be notified by email by Tuesday 14 May 2019.
  • The winners will be announced in the yourUWE Bristol student newsletter by 30 May 2019.
  • Ipsos MORI will select the winners by random.
  • The prize of a hot air balloon ride will be a voucher for up to two people. Under 16s will need to be supervised by a parent/guardian.
  • The balloon prize winner will need to comply with all the relevant terms and conditions of the balloon flight provider and the pilot.
  • The balloon flight launch site is as agreed with the balloon flight provider.
  • The balloon prize winner will be required to liaise directly with the balloon flight provider to arrange a flight date and time, which will be subject to change depending on flight conditions.
  • Any additional costs incurred (eg travel, childcare) are not included. This includes any costs incurred if a scheduled balloon flight is cancelled at short notice due to poor weather.
  • The promoter is The University of the West of England (UWE Bristol) whose registered office is at Coldharbour Lane, Frenchay, Bristol BS16 1QY.
  • The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the prize draw will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • No cash alternative to the prize will be offered.
  • By taking part, a participant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  • There is no entry fee.
  • The prize is not transferable.
  • The prize and these terms will be governed by English law.
