Students are expected to complete a risk assessment prior to commencing placement. This information will be sent to you by the placements team. If you do not receive a risk assessment email to complete before Day 1 of your placement, then please email firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com , non-completion will result in your placement being stopped.
Useful training resources
Students are expected to access the clinical skills website to read the personal protective equipment (PPE) guidance on donning and doffing. The site is also accessible from the UWE Bristol library pages.
Students are expected to undertake the Coronavirus awareness training course from the Skills For Health website. The course offers a choice of two options. You can either complete the free version and take a screen shot of the end page that says that you have completed it, or you can choose to pay a fee of £2 for a version that provides a completion certificate at the end.
