International and European Student Orientation
We look forward to welcoming you to UWE Bristol. Student Orientation is your chance to meet other international and European students, as well as staff members from the Global Student Support team.
International and European Student Orientation takes place on Wednesday 11 September to Friday 13 September in the ECC (Exhibition and Conference Centre). Students will be expected to attend workshops and a country specific session, usually on the same day that their registration is completed.
View the International Orientation Programme for details of workshops and events.
Students arriving on Monday 9 and Tuesday 10 September will have the chance to sign up to social events shortly. Event details will be sent to students via email.
Student Orientation events
Workshops will take place in the ECC (Exhibition and Conference Centre) on Wednesday 11 and Thursday 12 September and will focus on important topics, such as visas and immigration, money advice and British culture.
As well as attending workshops, Student Orientation will give you the opportunity to meet and greet community groups from the local area, and to speak to pop-up banks about UK banking and how to set up UK bank accounts.
Please note a photographer may be present during Student Orientation and some of the images might be used in the future for marketing and promotional activities. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform us via email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
