British Council opportunities

The British Council offers many exciting opportunities for students who wish to work abroad. Many opportunities are fully or partially funded.

As a UWE Bristol student you have free access to GoinGlobal which is packed with country specific career information and has hundreds of job listings.

Erasmus+ Traineeship opportunities

The Erasmus+ programme provides a grant for students who have found a work placement (known as a ‘traineeship’) in Europe. The grant is between €400–450 per month towards the additional costs of living abroad, and is in addition to any salary you’ll receive from your employer.

Traineeships must last at least two months and be an integral part of your degree programme – either a sandwich placement, or an activity that forms part of your UWE Futures Award.
