If you have any questions about placements, please contact us in one of the following ways:

  • Call us on +44 (0)117 32 82220.
  • UWE Bristol students can ask us a question through ‘My Questions’ on Infohub (login required).
  • Book an InfoHub appointment (InfoHub login required) - for students who are on a sandwich placement.

How we help students

We're here to guide you through getting your placement approved and to answer your questions about your forthcoming placement. Our team will liaise with UWE Bristol academic staff to ensure that your placement meets your programme's requirements.

Before you go on placement, we'll brief you to make sure that you have everything in place and are fully prepared.

Need help finding a placement?

If you’d like help with finding a placement we recommend that you take a look at the Careers Toolkit on InfoHub (login required), where you can search for current placement vacancies. You could also get support from our Careers Team at one of our drop-ins or appointment services.

Help during your placement

Please contact us if you have any queries or concerns when you're on placement, especially if you're unhappy on placement, are off sick for longer than two weeks or your placement's finishing early.

Support for employers

Before placements begin, we'll contact students to confirm that their placement has been approved by UWE Bristol. We're also available to support employers with any issues or queries while the student is on placement with you.
