International graduate entrepreneurship

UWE Bristol are pleased to be able to offer eligible applicants endorsement under the new Start-up visa.

In order to be considered under this route, international graduates must have been accepted into UWE Bristol’s Launch Space, which provides physical incubator space and enterprise support for graduate start-up businesses. Endorsements are limited to UWE Bristol graduates who have graduated in the last three years.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Have a genuine and credible business idea which meets UKVI requirements of being innovative, viable and scalable
  • Be able to show that you have a new business idea – you cannot join or invest in a business that is already trading
  • Be able to demonstrate savings of at least £945 which have been held for a minimum of 90 consecutive days prior to submitting your visa application.

In the first instance interested applicants should contact either the Immigration Advice Service or UWE Bristol Launch Space for further information.

Successful candidates will not be able to start self-employment until they have received their new Start-up visa.
