Entrepreneur Support Programme
The Entrepreneur Support Programme aims to help you take your business from the ideas stage through to proof-of-concept. We do this by giving you a range of support, tools, and guidance to help develop both you and your venture. Summer Enterprise scholarships
We offer scholarships over eight weeks in the summer. These scholarships give you the opportunity to work to and develop your own ideas. Find out more about Summer Enterprise Scholarships via InfoHub, including details regarding eligibility requirements, key dates and information.
Have you graduated in the last three years in the UK and have a business idea you’d like to put into action? Launch Space provides free desk space and business support for graduate start-up businesses in the heart of our University Enterprise Zone.
Try-It, Launch-It awards
Get financial support for a new business through the Try-It (£125-£500) and Launch-It (£1250) awards, sponsored by Santander Universities. Open to all UWE Bristol students. Find out more about our Try-It and Launch-It awards via InfoHub.
As part of the partnership agreement with Santander Universities Global Division, UWE Bristol Enterprise have up to £5,000 available to support students with an existing business or new business idea. Find out about the Santander Dragons’ Den funding (InfoHub login required).
Global Entrepreneurship Week 2019
Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is the world’s largest campaign to promote entrepreneurship. This year, GEW will take place from Monday 18 November, with a host of workshops, events and activities taking place across our UWE campuses. UWE Bristol Enterprise Week 2020
UWE Bristol Enterprise host its own enterprise week every year in February. This year Enterprise Week will take place on Monday 17 to Friday 21 February 2020. Pop-up shops, challenges and competitions
UWE Bristol Enterprise runs various challenges and competitions throughout the year. Some examples this year include Dragons' Den, Pitch-a-thon and pop-up shops (via InfoHub). These are aimed at developing your enterprise skills and ability to recognise opportunities.
