If you smell gas, think you have a gas leak, or are worried that fumes containing carbon monoxide are escaping from a gas appliance, please use the emergency repairs contact details below and follow the instructions:
- open all doors and windows to ventilate the property
- do not turn on/off any electrical switches
- extinguish all naked flames, do not smoke, strike matches or do anything which could cause ignition/sparks
- if there are any electrical security entry phones/locks, please open door manually.

Emergency repairs should be reported in person or by telephone to the Customer Service Desk at Cotswold Court +44 (0)117 3286227 or Wallscourt Park +44(0)117 3287364.
If you are unable to contact a Customer Service Desk,

Do not report emergency repairs via email or the Accommodation enquiries web page.
Non-emergency repairs or pest control
You can complete a Repairs Request Form (which includes pest control) online. Your repair/pest control request will be dealt with when our Customer Service Desks are open between: Cotswold Court 08:00–20:00 and Wallscourt Park 08:00-20:00.
If you are planning to phone in your repair request, please be
ready with as much information as possible about the problem – what
needs repairing, what is wrong with it and where is it
We will also need your contact details - your name, student ID, accommodation address, a telephone number and email address.
Repairs and planned maintenance will be completed by UWE Bristol approved contractors. If you have reported a fault you should expect a contractor to visit. You do not need to be present in the property and Accommodation Services will issue a key for access directly to the contractor. A calling card will be left in your room when a contractor enters your room/property.
