Mail and deliveries
Post and parcels
Royal Mail will deliver post and small items to postboxes located at the front of each pavilion in the Student Village and to the postboxes situated outside of residences for Carroll Court and Wallscourt Park. Your post box will be identified by your flat or house number and will be secured with a padlock. You will receive your padlock code on arrival.
Quantock parcel room
If you are unable to receive an item you have ordered you can notify the Quantock parcel room, who will receive the item on your behalf. Once received, the parcel room will notify you via email, so it is important that it is correctly addressed and the post room have your correct details, for example: full name and student ID number – site – flat/house number – room letter/number
Please take a look at the UWE Bristol accommodation options for specific postal addresses.
It is important to remember that your parcel will not be ready for collection if you have not received an email from us as it will not have been processed, so please do not contact the post room prior to this.
The following items cannot be accepted by the post room:
- large/heavy boxes that cannot be lifted or moved
- food items/perishable items
- Illegal substances.
Please note that, due to data protection and privacy laws, we are only able to release parcels to the addressee and on production of student ID.
Couriers will attempt to contact students in the first instance via the flat intercoms to deliver parcels. However, in the event that students are not available to take delivery, parcels will be received at the Parcel Room. You will be notified you have a parcel waiting via email, so please collect your parcel as soon as possible.
The parcel room is open:
|Monday to Friday||13:00 until 18:45|
|Saturday||14:00 until 16:45|
Email Postroom@uwe.ac.uk in person or telephone +44 (0)117 32 86239.
