Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Science Communication Part-Bursary Scheme

This year, the Science Communication Unit at UWE Bristol is able to offer a bursary which will part-fund a place on its online only, PgDip in Applied Science Communication (online). The value of the bursary is £500 per year, for the 2 year, part-time programme.

To apply for the bursary, you must have applied for the PgDip Applied Science Communication (online) by 17:00 Friday, 29 November 2019 and be wishing to start the course in January 2020. Only those who have been or who are in the process of being offered a conditional or unconditional place will be considered eligible. The bursary may only be used on PgDip Applied Science Communication (online) offered at UWE Bristol.

To apply for the bursary:

Please submit a proposal for a face-to-face activity designed to engage a public of your choice with an aspect of science, technology, engineering or mathematics. You should clearly state who you are trying to reach and why, indicating why they would be interested in the science topic. You should clearly outline what the activity is and the science to be covered. Entries should be no more than 400 words. Entries should be emailed to the Programme Leader, Emma Weitkamp to be received by 17:00 Friday 29 November 2019.
