Box of Broadcasts (BoB) is an off-air recording and media archive service. BoB is available to staff and students of member institutions of the British Universities Film & Video Council that hold an ERA+ license. This TV scheduling service allows you to record TV and radio programmes that are scheduled to be broadcast over the next seven days as well as retrieving programmes from the last seven days from a selected list of recorded channels.

The Foreign Broadcast Information Service (FBIS) daily reports have been the principal record of political and historical open-source intelligence for more than 65 years. The original mission of the FBIS was to monitor, record, transcribe, and translate radio broadcasts from foreign governments, official news services, and clandestine broadcasts from occupied territories. The FBIS daily reports digital collection consists of those reports, transcribed as events were reported locally, which were then translated to English.

  • ILR South (1300 programmes deposited by independent local radio stations in Dorset, Hampshrie and Berkshire area)
  • Radio Research Database (this resource aims to carry a record of all current radio-centred research in the UK).
