What you'll need
When contacting the IT Service Desk, please have the following information ready to assist us with your query:
- Your UWE Username and/or Student Number
- Your UWE computer name and if it is a printer problem the serial number of the printer
- Details of the problem including any error messages and when it last worked
The IT self-service portal allows you to make standard requests, search knowledge and track tickets that you have logged.

Out of hours support (telephone only)
If the out of hours team are unable to resolve your query, they will hand it over to the core hours team to resolve.
We aim to respond to emails as quickly as possible within core hours. During busy periods it may take up to 5 working days.
