Improving management and supporting guidelines in air quality in metropolitan cities (Athens, Bangkok and Bristol)

This project reviewed and assessed the air quality in the three metropolitan cities in order to identify the extent of air pollution problems and the subsequent actions that needed to be taken.

Provision of air quality support to the Maltese Government investigating air quality in the vicinity of the Delimara Power Station, Malta

Assisting the Malta Environment and Planning Authority in determining the impact of the Delimara Power Station on local air quality, particularly PM10.

Development of an atmospheric emissions inventory for the Niger Delta

The first ever air quality emissions inventory for the Niger Delta.

Dube Aerotropolis Framework for Sustainability, Durban, South Africa

Development of a Framework for Sustainability, including a Carbon and Water Inventory, for the development of the Dube Aerotropolis in the vicinity of King Shaka International Airport, Durban, South Africa.

International Water Security Network (IWSN)

The IWSN project brings together UWE Bristol, Monash South Africa and the University of Arizona to investigate issues around water security.

Development of the National Framework on Air Quality Management for the Republic of South Africa

AQMRC reviewed the State of Environment report on behalf of the South African, ten years after the original National Framework, to provide a reflection on progress to date and international trends in air quality management.
