Project summary
The REPLICATE project (REnaissance in PLaces with Innovative Citizenship And Technology) is a European research and development project aiming to deploy integrated energy, mobility and ICT solutions in city districts. Bristol is one of three lead 'lighthouse' cities along with Florence and San Sebastian.
AQMRC's (Dr Emily Prestwood and Dr Tim Chatterton) role on the project is to evaluate smart integrated energy solutions in Bristol in terms of energy, cost and CO2 savings, and behaviour change.
We have also carried out a scoping study examining energy flexibility and the potential to aggregate demand side response services, and are contributing to designing a household demand side response trial.
