Professional and postgraduate courses

Undertaking a professional course can increase your professional competencies and capabilities, along with your understanding of major technical, business and environmental factors affecting the advanced Engineering and Aerospace industry.
Our courses are delivered in a variety of formats, including work-based learning and blocks of teaching to make it easier for you to fit your study around work and other commitments.
Professional short courses
Our Master’s level modules can be taken as standalone short courses or used to build towards a postgraduate qualification (see below). We are also able to develop bespoke packages to meet your organisations specific business training requirements.
See our full list of professional and short courses in engineering and aerospace.
Postgraduate courses
We also offer the following postgraduate qualifications in engineering and aerospace:
- MSc Aerospace
- MSc Engineering Management
- MSc Engineering Operations and Improvement
- MSc Professional Engineering
These awards have been designed to meet the needs of both part-time (CPD) and full-time study, and to help develop the portfolio of evidence required towards Chartered Engineer recognition.
Professional Development Appraisal and Continuing Review
This core module is designed to prepare you for your future career, encouraging you to take responsibility for your own skills development in line with your organisation’s capability requirements.
During this module, you will select the other modules you need to achieve your career ambitions. You will critically evaluate each module as you progress, developing evaluative and reflective skills alongside technical and business skills.
The on-going review allows the development of a portfolio of evidence alongside the academic assessment, which can be put towards an application for Chartered Engineer registration.
