About The Childhood Studies Research Group

The Childhood Studies Research Group was formed in September 2013, and consists of some 20 academics, including specialists in Education, English Literature, History, Language and Linguistics, Cultural Studies and Law.

All share an interest in the experiences, status, treatment and representation of children, and are committed to exploring these through collaborative research and engagement that crosses traditional disciplinary boundaries.

The CSRG actively promotes opportunities for collaboration and research across disciplines and between institutions.

Events and activities within the group

The CSRG have been involved in numerous outreach and dissemination activities, including a CSRG Seminar Series, public day-schools, and work with local schools in Bristol.
