Operations/Departmental Manager Apprenticeship
The Operations/Departmental Manager Apprenticeship will equip the current and aspiring managers in your business with the approaches and tools they need to achieve operational objectives and develop high-performing teams.
What is the Operations/Departmental Manager Apprenticeship?
The Operations/Departmental Manager Apprenticeship gives current and aspiring managers in your business the opportunity to enhance and maximize their management expertise, with all tuition fees funded through the Apprenticeship Levy.
Based on the Level 5 ILM Diploma in Leadership and Management, this programme is designed to give your staff a firm understanding of best practice in delivering projects, leading teams and managing change.
Alongside investigating key business concepts and management systems, they’ll build on essential interpersonal skills, from effective delegation to coaching techniques. All the models and processes they explore are tried and tested, meaning you can be confident your organisation is benefiting from the very latest thinking.
Who is the Operations/Departmental Manager Apprenticeship for?
Anyone in your organisation who aspires to lead teams and operations more effectively will benefit from this apprenticeship. Learners should either be in or transitioning into roles such as Operations Manager, Regional or Divisional Manager, and specialist managers.
Through a blend of theory and practice-based tasks, the programme will strengthen the skills of those involved in a range of management activities, including delivering operational plans, co-ordinating projects, and overseeing resources.
How will your business benefit?
Newly-qualified employees will be able to effectively support, manage and communicate objectives, and demonstrate commercial awareness in shaping new opportunities in your business. They’ll be adept at reflecting on and adapting their own performance, as well as that of their team.
And because learners are encouraged to integrate theory and practice in the workplace from the very start of the course, you’ll notice a difference almost immediately.
