ABLE Business Leaders' Summit

The first UWE Business Leaders' Summit, included guest presentations from UWE Bristol Professor Dylan Jones-Evans OBE and Warwick Business School Professor Stephen Roper and a participative discussion with an expert panel regarding the ways organisations can work with UWE and how UWE can meet business needs and create opportunities for organisations.

The Distinguished Executive Address with Rupert Soames OBE, CEO of Aggreko Plc, followed this session.

Background of speakers

Professor Dylan Jones-Evans OBE

Dylan is Professor of Entrepreneurship and Strategy at UWE Bristol. His main research interests are the development of world-class small firms, enterprise education for SMEs, the study of fast growth entrepreneurial businesses, and increasing linkages between academia and industry.

Professor Stephen Roper

Stephen is Professor of Enterprise at Warwick Business School and Director of the Enterprise Research Centre.

He joined Warwick in 2008 having previously been Professor of Business Innovation at Aston Business School, Birmingham. His research interests include small business development and policy, innovation and regional development.
