If you are experiencing problems logging in to your UWE Welcome website, please refer to the information below for help and guidance.

How do I log in to UWE Welcome?

Go to the UWE Welcome website and enter the UWE Welcome ID and temporary password we sent you by email into the fields provided. Your UWE Welcome ID and password will look something like this:

UWE Welcome ID: 11090234

Password: 2WLHT7IOJ

The password is case sensitive so please take care to input any upper and lower case characters, eg 2Wlht7I0j. We suggest you copy and paste the password in to ensure that you do not replace 'O's with '0's or '1's with 'I's.

Once you have successfully logged in to your UWE Welcome website for the first time you will be prompted to change your password. Please choose a password you can remember and use it each subsequent time you log in. The original password we sent you will no longer be valid once you have chosen your own. 

How do I log out of UWE Welcome?

Because your website contains personal information we recommend that you log out of your UWE Welcome website when you have finished your session. This is especially important on shared or public computers that may be used by other people. To log out, simply click your name in the top right of the page and select 'Logout'.

I have forgotten my password

If you have forgotten your password and would like to receive a new one please use the forgotten password page and submit your UWE Welcome ID, surname and date of birth. We will then send an email to the address you last gave to us containing a temporary password which you can then use to access the website. 

I have recently changed my email address

If you applied to the University directly and you have recently changed your email address please email admissions@uwe.ac.uk. Please provide your UWE Welcome ID, name and new email address as well as some form of ID such as your passport or driving licence for verification and allow time for us to update your application record before using the forgotten password page to request a new password.

If you applied via UCAS or DfE Apply and have recently changed your email address please amend your details via your UCAS or DfE Apply as soon as possible and then allow time for us to update your application record before using the forgotten password page to request a new password. 

Can I change my password?

You can change your password once you have logged in to your UWE Welcome website. Just click on your name in the top right of the screen and choose 'Change password'. You will then be prompted to change and confirm your new password.

I don't have a UWE Welcome ID

If you have applied to study at UWE Bristol you will receive a UWE Welcome ID and temporary password by email to access your UWE Welcome website. If you are an applicant and have not received these, please contact Admissions stating your full name and your application number from UCAS, DfE Apply or UWE. If you have changed your email address since submitting your application, please refer to the above guidance.
