You’ll get to major cities in the UK from Bristol Parkway train station while Filton Abbey Wood connects you to destinations across the city and beyond. There’s a bus stop on campus where you can hop on the super speedy Metrobus or Megabus for longer journeys. If you’d rather bike it, you’ll find plenty of cycle lanes from Frenchay connecting you to the city centre. Outdoor space

There’s plenty of open space on campus– whether it’s the community garden, going on a trail to find where the bees hide or picking some fresh herbs to throw in the pasta. It’s a surprisingly diverse place to live.

A short walk from campus is Stoke Park Estate, a historic park that is popular with students and free to access.

Supermarkets, cafes and restaurants

A five minute walk away is the Abbeywood retail park with a range of shops, cafes and restaurants. There’s a good sized Asda, Subway, Nandos and discount names like Poundland and B&M. Sainsburys is also within easy reach by foot.

A local Coop and Boston Tea Party café are a short stroll away in Cheswick Village.

Centre for Music, sports facilities, shops and numerous cafes, bars and restaurants.
