Running can be hard, so we recommend starting small and building up your distance. You can try running through our drop-ins or the Athletics and Cross Country Club.

Running drop-ins

These sessions are designed for anyone who wants a run or jog, wants to increase their running ability or even try running for the first time.

Don't worry about not being fast enough – the group moves at different paces to suit every individual and you'll never be left on your own. So grab your trainers and sign up to this course.

These sessions are suitable for beginners and intermediates.

Please note these sessions are free. You don't need to be a MOVE member to take part.

Safety information

You should always wear reflective clothing if possible. Good-quality footwear is also required to take part in this class. If you’re inappropriately dressed, the instructor may advise against your participation.

Bristol Uni 5K

If you are training for the 10K or just fancy a run, why not enter the Bristol University 5K. With 6 weeks until the Bristol 10k, what better way to test out your progres, test how that couch to 5k in you is going, whatever your reason, run it or walk it.
