We are lucky enough to have our very own climbing wall on site at Frenchay Campus so if you’ve never tried it before, now is the time. You can take part in climbing through a MOVE learn-to course, the Climbing Club or both.
MOVE climbing course
This class is suitable for beginners and intermediates. You don't need any special equipment to attend this course – just turn up in some comfortable clothes and footwear and our friendly instructors will provide everything you need.
As well as learning a new skill, if you attend the whole six-week course, you'll achieve a certificate of competence, allowing you to climb unsupervised at the Centre for Sport on Frenchay Campus.
The course will run at two separate times. Once you've registered for a course you'll need to stick to that time slot. Class sizes are very limited, so sign up early.
