Join the American Football team
Run by The Students’ Union at UWE, you can join Team UWE Bristol American Football – the UWE Bullets – who compete in British Universities and Colleges (BUCS) league. There are two teams competing at different levels, and beginners are welcome.
The team practises and plays fixtures at Hillside Gardens, our purpose-built specialist pitch facilities near Frenchay Campus.

Performance Sport
The American Football first team is one of our performance sports, they train at an elite level and compete in the British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) Premier league. If you are an elite (national or international) American Football player you are able to apply for the Performance Student-Athlete Award.
