Maths hub

A brand new, purpose-built learning and social space on our Frenchay Campus designed for students studying on our Mathematics courses at foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate level and the staff teaching these programmes.

The open learning zones and teaching spaces are designed to encourage more opportunities for students and staff to interact and promote a cohort identity and supportive learning environment.

Facilities include:

  • technology-enabled active learning rooms (24 and 49 seaters)
  • a 30 seat PC lab
  • open learning zone with a range of different working and social areas including a kitchen
  • print station
  • large screen PC for group working, film nights and rolling displays
  • bookable meeting rooms
  • library/quiet zone with a bookcase.

The space officially opened in September 2018.
