​UWE Bristol's Mental Wealth Lab initiative will explore new and innovative approaches to developing and promoting positive mental health and wellbeing through a series of activities, including events, panel discussions, guest talks, academic research, and a new podcast series.

What is the Mental Wealth Lab initiative?​

The mental health and wellbeing of our students and staff has always been a priority for UWE Bristol and we are proud to be ahead of other organisations in terms of the broad range of wellbeing support options we provide to meet the needs of our community.

We're continuing to build on all of this excellent work to develop an open, supportive and caring environment in which everyone can thrive and flourish. We're making real progress. But we know that we still have further to go.

As a learning institution, and one that is leading the sector in making mental health and wellbeing a strategic priority, it's important for us to continue to learn, to research, to understand the wider issues around mental health, and to look for new ways to involve and inspire our whole community.

UWE Bristol's Mental Wealth Lab initiative brings together a series of activities which will explore new and innovative approaches to developing and promoting positive mental health. Through events, panel discussions, guest talks, academic research, a new podcast series and activities co-created with the Students' Union, we'll be encouraging staff and students at UWE Bristol to get involved and help us to better understand how we can all look after our own and others' mental health and wellbeing.

    Develop the Resilient You at UWE Bristol. A proactive approach to growing your confidence for when challenges hit at university and beyond. You'll learn how to develop your self-empowerment, support network, and how to learn from challenges.

  • Mindful Eating classes - information sessions

    Are you female and 18 years old or older? Are you interested in mindfulness? Would you like to improve your relationship with food? New on-campus 8-week Mindful Eating classes are coming soon.
