Bristol Parkway engineering works - Saturday 15 September - Saturday 6 October

Engineering work linked to electrification will take place around Bristol Parkway for three weeks from Saturday 15 September to Saturday 6 October – including weekdays. During this time, no trains will call at Bristol Parkway and connecting coaches will run to Patchway, Yate and Filton Abbey Wood.

Stations serving UWE Bristol campuses

Bristol Parkway and Filton Abbey Wood stations are only 20 minute walking distance away from Frenchay Campus, or 5 minutes by bus (19, 19A, 10 or 625) or cycle ride.

Bristol Temple Meads Railway Station is located in the city centre and is an important transport hub for public transport, with bus services to many parts of the city and surrounding districts. There are also frequent rail connections to other major cities.

Bus service 70 goes to Frenchay Campus from Temple Meads.

Discounted rail travel to Open Days and Award Ceremonies

Great Western Railway (GWR) are offering a 20% discount on Advance Purchase tickets for longer journeys to Bristol Temple Meads and Bristol Parkway for passengers travelling to Open Days and Award Ceremonies from stations on the GWR network.
