The International Office is responsible for a wide range of areas relating to recruitment of International students, the development of partnerships overseas and in the UK, global employability, international student support, study abroad and Erasmus exchanges.
Recruitment and Outreach Office
The Recruitment and Outreach team provide a comprehensive outreach programme, including Undergraduate and Postgraduate Open Days for potential applicants. They also run numerous activities for schools and colleges. The team liaise with colleagues across the University to ensure UWE Bristol has an attractive portfolio of courses, admissions requirements, and processes to best serve the needs of our future students. The Recruitment and Outreach team aims to:
- Raise aspirations of potential students to higher education in general, from primary age to adult, and support their progression.
- Support the recruitment of students to the University, with a particular focus on those from non-traditional backgrounds.
- Support the University in the retention, achievement and employability of students that we engage with, throughout the student life cycle.
