Singers singing from songbook in a choir

UWE Bristol Singers

This is a big choral society for everyone. You don't need to audition to join. New singers, whether experienced or complete beginners, are always very welcome to come and experience the thrill of singing with 100 other people.

Choir works include: Poulenc’s Gloria, Mozart’s Requiem, Elgar’s The Music Makers, Karl Jenkins’s Requiem, Hadyn’s Nelson Mass, Delius’s Sea Drift, John Rutter's Requiem, David Fanshawe’s African Sanctus and Walton's Belshazzar's Feast.

Every year they also perform a major choral work with the UWE Bristol Orchestra in the Centre for Music Festival of Sound at The Colston Hall.

The following clips were recorded during a performance at Bristol Cathedral.

The choir is conducted by Dr Max Davies and accompanied by Alison Howell.
