  • The Big Band is an energetic and polished ensemble, led by musicians Keith Morgan and Nick Attwood.
  • We always want to hear from new players so if you are not sure you have enough musical experience then please get in touch.
  • Big Band rehearse once a week on Monday evenings.

  • The Gospel Choir is directed by Kim Samuels.
  • Everyone is welcome – there's no audition and no previous experience is necessary.
  • Gospel Choir rehearse once a week on Wednesday lunchtimes.

  • The UWE Orchestra is conducted by Senior Lecturer in Classical and Jazz Music Enrichment, Steve Legge.
  • The UWE Orchestra welcome players of all orchestral instruments at Grade 6 standard and above.
  • UWE Orchestra rehearse once a week on Tuesday evenings.

  • A unique collaboration with the Bristol University Brass Band.
  • The band is a student-run group who rehearse each week leading to major concerts and competitions.

  • UWE Singers is our biggest choir, directed by renowned conductor Ben England.
  • No audition is required but experience singing in a choir will be valuable.
  • UWE Singers rehearse once a week on Tuesday evenings.
