About the ReVoice Choir
The UWE Bristol ReVoice Choir is a social singing group run by HCPC Music Therapists, students and speech and language therapists.
It is open to anyone who has had a stroke or has a diagnosis of aphasia and finds that everyday communication is now difficult.
The choir will practise breathing and voice exercises, along
with a wide variety of songs and music making, usually familiar to
our members and often suggested by them. This choir is for you if
you want to join a different kind of social event where
communication difficulty is accepted and understood. It may also
be possible to use musical instruments.
Choir members do not need to have a background in music. An interest in any style of music is welcome.
Carers and family are also welcome to attend and regular volunteer help is always appreciated. The venue is fully accessible by bus or car (with disabled access), and refreshments are available nearby.
Please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org to register interest, as places are limited.
