Rajakon - Real Estate

Get involved, be supported and experience everything

Rajakon chose to follow in his family’s footsteps and left Thailand to study for a degree in Real Estate at UWE Bristol. He’s happy that he came to UWE Bristol and is now in his second year.

"When I first arrived I was a little homesick, but it didn’t last long because everyone was so friendly and there was so much to get involved in. The International Orientation helped me settle in well and it was a great way to make some new friends.

"It’s important to take advantage of the many opportunities on offer. I love sports so I joined the UWE Bristol Thai football team and before long I became the team captain. I also joined the Thai Society and later became the President.

"My course is great too. I find the tutorials are excellent and give you time to ask any questions. The teaching staff are always there to support you.

"I really like living in Bristol and exploring the city – it’s a great student city with so much going on. The shopping is great here and it’s only 90 minutes away from London by train."

"I’m so glad I came to UWE Bristol. It’s been a wonderful experience and really exceeded my expectations."
