Comprehensive courses
Forward thinking curriculum
Employers are closely involved in the development and delivery of many of our courses; after all, they know what they’re looking for in an employee. Together with our partners from business and industry, we’ve developed a really effective kit of skills and knowledge to give you a whole range of vital tools that will give you the edge in the job market.
Partners and friends
We boast some impressive visiting lecturers, including Richard Noble of Bloodhound SSC, the 1000mph land speed record attempt, and Oscar winning animator Richard Williams. And, on some programmes such as construction, computing and engineering, partner employers are involved from the start, acting as mentors, advising on career choice and offering work experience opportunities.
Graduate Development Programme
Only at UWE
Our unique Graduate Development Programme (GDP) is an integral part of your course, tailored to help you develop your own personal interests, skills and abilities, and ensure you are well-prepared for whatever future you choose.
We asked employers what skills and attributes they rated most highly, and as a result, we developed GDP so you can be sure you’ll be perfectly placed to find work. From helping you settle in during your first year to bringing in industry professionals to talk to you in your final year, we offer a host of help and support to set you on your way.
