UWE has its own on-site cinema screening an impressive selection of films from recent blockbusters to film-noir cult classics - and its all free!
The 100 seat theatre in 2D07, is equipped with a High Definition rear projection system and Dolby digital surround sound. The outstanding quality of Blu-Ray playback guarantees an excellent cinema experience.
Film diary
The Scene IT cinema has closed for this academic year, but join us in September 2012 for another season of blockbuster movies. An impressive selection of movies are screened every Monday and Wednesday at 18:15 during terms one and two.
The Scene IT Cinema provides special film screenings in support of events taking place across the University throughout the year. Screenings take place during the Summer months for summer school students.

Free tickets
The Core 24 bar cafe is close by and dispenses the free cinema tickets as well as popcorn and other snacks from their Cinema Treats menu.
