When illness and injury occur, UWE has health professionals on-hand in a fully equipped on-site health centre.
Helping our student and staff population maintain health and fitness is of paramount importance to us. Good health can help maximise academic performance and general wellbeing. The University Health Centre is provided to promote healthy living and deal with illness when it arises.
Professional health care
The Health Centre on Frenchay campus works in association with a local GP surgery to provide an excellent standard of health care. Our committed and enthusiastic clinicians are highly experienced and in-tune with student needs.
It also has the capacity to provide first-line care in case of an emergency and recovery support for people managing long-term problems.
